Focus on specific skill areas with Verticy Learning’s supplemental programs

For students who require remedial help with reading, writing, or math, but do not need a complete curriculum solution, we offer Verticy Reading and Verticy Math.These programs allow you to focus on either language arts elements or mathematics using Verticy’s specialized instructional methods. Verticy’s supplemental curricula are perfect for use as parent-led programs or with a tutor.

Verticy Reading

Using Verticy’s outstanding Phonics, Spelling, Grammar, and Composition curriculum, parents can work after school with students to boost their reading and writing skills. As with Verticy’s Complete Curriculum option, students begin Verticy Reading at the level most appropriate for their current skills and advance at their own pace. Easy to follow, step-by-step lesson plans focus on guided instruction and use the same Orton-Gillingham based methods and multi-sensory learning.

Verticy Math

You and your child will use the time-tested Calvert Math program along with a customized Verticy Math companion that has been developed to introduce new math vocabulary at the outset of each chapter. In addition, the Verticy Math companion includes interactive games and activities designed to reinforce the concepts covered.

Enrollment in Verticy Reading or Verticy Math features all of the support you need to be a successful home teacher, including:
