Educational Technology & Software
One of the most valued aspects of the Verticy Learning program are the computer based programs we make available to your student. These programs provide the child with alternative means of academic support as well as a fun, interactive learning environment!
These programs are included for every Verticy family:
Kidspiration or Inspiration
In the early levels of our curriculum students use Kidspiration® software and transition to Inspiration® as they reach certain milestones and advance to upper levels in the curriculum.
Verticy Learning students use Kidspiration software for an easy way to apply the proven principles of visual learning. Kidspiration helps children build graphic organizers by combining pictures, text, and spoken words to represent thoughts and information. During Composition lessons, students use Kidspiration to help organize their thoughts and outline stories before compiling the information into paragraph format. This software program provides Verticy students with the necessary tools to advance their comprehension and writing skills.
Inspiration is the essential tool for students further along in the Language Arts curriculum. Students rely on Inspiration to plan, research, and complete projects successfully. Moving from Diagram to Outline Views within the program, students create graphic organizers and expand topics into complete sentence compositions for assignments in Composition, History, Science, and other subjects. Like Kidspiration, Inspiration aids students in the development of complex writing skills and concepts using the benefits of visual learning. Students with LLDs will begin to grasp the process of turning ideas and thoughts into successfully written compositions.
